Moris Media is looking for an experienced SEO Specialist to lead search engine optimization and marketing efforts for both Moris Media and its clients. As an SEO Specialist, you will play a crucial role in enhancing and optimizing the online presence of our company and clients in search engine results. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, analytical skills, and creative thinking to drive organic traffic, improve search engine rankings, and increase online visibility.
- Develop and implement effective SEO strategies to increase organic traffic and visibility on search engines.
- Perform comprehensive keyword research and analysis to identify target keywords and optimize website content accordingly.
- Execute on-page optimization tasks, including optimizing meta tags, headers, and URL structures for improved website ranking and user experience.
- Optimize website architecture and navigation to facilitate search engine crawling and indexing.
- Utilize SEO tools and web analytics platforms to monitor and analyze website performance regularly.
- Identify and resolve technical SEO issues, such as crawl errors, broken links, and duplicate content.
- Collaborate with content creators to ensure SEO-friendly content creation and optimization.
- Stay updated on industry trends and algorithm updates to continually improve SEO strategies.
- Conduct regular competitor analysis to identify opportunities for improvement and maintain a competitive edge.
- Provide SEO recommendations and guidance to cross-functional teams, including web developers, designers, and marketers.
- Prepare regular SEO reports and performance metrics to track progress and communicate results to stakeholders.
- Conduct tests, collect and analyze data, identify trends, and maximize ROI in paid search campaigns.
- Track, report, and analyze website analytics and PPC initiatives.
- Manage campaign expenses, estimate monthly costs, and reconcile discrepancies.
- Optimize copy and landing pages for search engine marketing.
- Perform ongoing keyword discovery, expansion, and optimization.
- Research and implement search engine optimization recommendations.
- Analyze competitor advertising links and develop link-building strategies.
- Collaborate with the development team to ensure SEO best practices are implemented on newly developed code.
- Work with editorial and marketing teams to drive SEO in content creation and programming.
- Recommend changes to website architecture, content, linking, and other factors to enhance SEO positions for target keywords.
- Proven SEO experience in planning and executing successful strategies to drive organic traffic and improve search engine visibility.
- Proficiency in managing PPC campaigns across platforms like Google, Yahoo, and Bing.
- Solid understanding of performance marketing principles, conversion optimization, and online customer acquisition strategies.
- In-depth experience using website analytics tools like Google Analytics, NetInsight, Omniture, WebTrends, etc.
- Familiarity with bid management tools like Click Equations, Marin, Kenshoo, Search Ignite, etc.
- Experience in conducting A/B and multivariate experiments to improve website performance and conversion rates.
- Understanding of ranking factors and search engine algorithms.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret data and draw actionable insights.
- Capability to prepare regular SEO reports and performance metrics.
- Proficiency in tracking, reporting, and analyzing website analytics and PPC initiatives.
- Experience in managing campaign expenses and adhering to budgets.

- Proven track record in acquiring, delivering, and maintaining client relationships.
