Job Description:

CO/LAB is the USA & Pakistan-based IT company looking to hire a Mid-Level WordPress Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with WordPress and be able to develop, maintain, and improve WordPress websites.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, maintain, and improve WordPress websites
  • Customize existing WordPress themes and plugins
  • Build custom WordPress themes and plugins from scratch
  • Troubleshoot and debug WordPress websites
  • Collaborate with design, content, and marketing teams to implement website changes and improvements
  • Keep up-to-date with the latest WordPress updates and trends
  • Ensure website code is optimized for performance and search engine optimization (SEO)
  • Provide technical support for WordPress websites

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience working with WordPress
  • Knowledge of PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Experience with WordPress development tools such as the Gutenberg block editor, Advanced Custom Fields (ACF), and WooCommerce
  • Understanding of website performance optimization techniques and SEO best practices
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field is preferred but not required
