Position Overview

The successful candidate in this role will be primarily responsible for using digital software to organize video and sound files into a final product. A video content specialist is required to possess both technical and creative abilities to be able to effectively create the vision clients have in mind. Individuals in this position usually have experience working with creative software and have a keen eye for creative digital design.Also designing and distributing all digital communications across various platforms. They must be proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator), PowerPoint, and Microsoft Office 365 suite. Be able to utilize advanced training, skills, and talent to interpret conceptual direction to create the final product. Work independently (with stakeholders) to generate videos that are compelling and creative.This position will report to the Video Production Manager and is based in our Pakistan office.

The Video Content Specialist Is Primarily Responsible For

  • Producing Digital Media and video deliverables for the company
  • Work closely with the social media team to develop and execute ongoing growth strategies for the channels
  • Partner with creative and production teams to edit internal and external work, including case studies, rips, sizzles, social, and non-traditional branded content
  • Coordinating schedules/timelines for video content
  • Assist with video storytelling
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to independently manage overlapping deadlines
  • Working with art directors and creative directors on ensuring content is delivered on-brand
  • Conduct pre-production planning
  • Shoot and record videos on location, in studio, or virtually
  • Edit videos per script, providing critical input where needed
  • Develop graphics, effects, and motion graphics
  • Manage content and media asset libraries
  • Consult on use of videos
  • Ensure timely delivery of video projects

We are seeking candidates with the following qualifications and skills:

Education, Certifications, & Technology Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Film/Video, Motion Graphics, or a related field
  • Proven experience in a professional video production role
  • 5+ or more years of experience in a video production role (preference given to technology-savvy designers)
  • A portfolio of previous work to showcase experience and creativity
  • Strong knowledge of design software programs, such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, Premiere Pro)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
  • Preference is given for knowledge of the technology industry and video marketing tools such as Vimeo and YouTube
  • Ability to present design ideas and concepts for campaigns and projects
  • Attention to detail to ensure quality, accuracy, and consistency in projects
  • Listen to and understand information and ideas presented verbally
  • Read and understand information and ideas presented in writing
  • Experience working for US or UK-based organizations
  • A team player with exceptional organizational, time management, and technical skills
