About the job

We are looking for a talented web designer that knows how to create amazing user experiences design in Figma/Adobe Photoshop and convert these designs into HTML/CSS. The ideal candidate should have an eye for clean, sleek and artful web design that is also highly functional. We are looking for some one who can work between 3pm- 12am Pakistan Time.

This job is for you if:

  • You are a self-driven and can execute from design concept to final hand-off to engineering with minimal supervision
  • You are an expert in designing across a variety of disciplines be it web design, mobile interface design or even creatives for advertising/social media
  • Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with product managers and engineers. Build page navigation buttons and search fields. Develop UI mockups, wire frames, prototypes, storyboards, user interfaces & process flows for mobile and web applications.

Responsibilities

  • Come up with creative, novel ideas for landing page designs and forms that follow latest design trends like responsive layouts and material design
  • Create wireframes, user flows and sitemaps to communicate interaction and design ideas
  • Extend existing established websites by creating pages that follow a specific brand/style guides

Skills

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in web designing for both static marketing sites and function web/mobile applications
  • Must have experience on UI/UX designing, Web mockup designing, and web/ Mobile App designing.
  • Proficient knowledge of design tools like Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop).
  • Proficient knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, Javascript and at least one design framework like Twitter Bootstrap
  • Expertise in Illustrator or Sketch is desirable.
  • Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision
  • Expert understanding of latest trends in typography, color palettes, white space balance, iconography and other visual trends
